Cash Flow Modeling

  • Cash Flow Modeling by xBrezzo (CFM) is a cash flow modeling service designed to help family law professionals simulate financial scenarios for individuals going through divorce. It allows you to provide specific facts regarding incomes, tax assumptions, and budgets and then request various cash flow scenarios based upon those facts to be used in your analysis or provided to clients.  This allows you to explore options and aid in making decisions on such things as child support, spousal maintenance, budgets, tax deductions, and tax filing status. The current version encompasses federal and Minnesota state tax calculations for 2024.

  • CFM utilizes a cloud-based questionnaire that can be accessed through internet access on any PC, Mac, tablet or mobile device.  The reports are provided in PDF format via email so any system that can receive emails and open PDFs can receive and review the reports generated by this service.

  • The form to request scenarios is available on the xBrezzo website on the Buy Now page.  You can access the questionnaire from any device with internet access.

  • The CFM form on the xBrezzo website is easy to navigate.  You walk through the form from top to bottom entering any assumptions you want included in the scenarios. Required fields are noted with a red asterisk (*) and you will not be allowed to submit your form without completing all required fields. It is clearly noted what inputs should include annual versus monthly amounts.

Once the facts are entered, the last “Cash Flow” section asks you to identify the scenarios you would like run for your particular matter.  You should check any applicable scenarios from the options provided and/or check “Custom” to provide other scenarios you would like to have xBrezzo prepare.

You will need to accept the Terms and Conditions and provide payment before xBrezzo will work on your matter.  Once everything is complete and you have submitted your form, you will receive a confirmation email noting your Case ID and the facts provided.

xBrezzo will email you the requested scenarios in PDF format within 2-3 business days of submission.

  • For every scenario you request, you will receive the following three reports: (1) a monthly cash flow report, (2) an annual cash flow report, and (3) a federal income tax calculation showing all facts considered in the federal tax calculations embedded in the other reports.  If you request guideline child support be included in any of your scenarios, we will also include a Minnesota Child Support Guidelines Worksheet that corresponds to any child support calculations in the applicable scenarios.

  • For every case, you can run up to 3 cash flow scenarios for $250.  Additional scenarios out of the same underlying facts cost $50 each. Payment can be made as part of the submission form and must be made prior to receiving the scenarios.  We will provide an invoice for all CFM scenarios generated so you can document the expense for billing to your client if you choose to do so.

  • The CFM form does not require any identifying information for your client(s).  The “Case Name” for the scenarios is limited to 3 characters so you can choose to provide the first 3 letters of the case or use an identification system of your choice.  For Spouse A and Spouse B, you can provide first names or we suggest using initials or another identification system to fully anonymize the clients.  No other identifying information is required to run these scenarios.
